Love where this is going - super helpful single picture in 8 seconds :-). Agree on the cumulative snowfall - not super helpful during a single day. I must say, I would like to understand the cloudy/sunny status. Yes as you note Dave, powderhounds ski in all conditions, but would love to know if it will be more of a tree skiing day or open bowl skiing day (and also helps with lens selection)

+1 for being interested in what snow is falling after the lifts close. Would also help for timing reverse pow days

Similarly the wind data is most interesting for the core operating hours and less so otherwise for obvious reasons.

The cumulative snowfall isn't doing anything for me and just clutters the graph. I can do well enough in my head, the total area of the bars is an accurate visual representation, and the logarithmic axis is a disaster for the median voter.

In general, I have been loving the one-graph solution. Thank you all for your work here.

It would be great to have some sense of how the snowfall in any 24hr period will be distributed by time. For example, is most of it expected to fall during the day (and therefore be constantly tracked out) or is most of it coming after the hill closes and freshies can be expected at opening. Maybe a little sparkline or simple indicator for each day?

Just a thought, could you have a freezing level indicator, that way people would know if they have to break out the POW suit, or the Whistler rain Gortex. Lol

KISS, love it, I preach it to all my project disciples. Love the simplicity of the graph. So, when the temp rises above 0 on the graph, does this mean the indicated snow will turn to water (rain, I hate that word). Obviously this graph will be set at Pig Alley, is this correct, because if I was at the village and looked at your graph, I may be asking why is it raining, and not snowing.

What about positing up some different graphics and asking people to pick A/B of preference in a survey? I am sure someone out there smarter than I could whip up a GUI change when you get it automated.
